Briefly, discuss any interesting output results, if any.

I am trying to write desciptive stats for my outputs in Eviews and I suck! Here are the instructions. We are looking at socio economic factors that affect abortion rates. I need just some ideas by this afternoon so I can contribute something to my group.
For your most recent research paper data set, provide descriptive statistics for all variables. Include definitions for all variables – how the variable is measured. From the summary statistics discuss, if any, potential data problems. Briefly, discuss any interesting output results, if any.
Import data into eviews, click on ‘Quick/Group Statistics/Descriptive Statistics/Individual Samples’.
The output will be a table. You can highlight the table in eviews, right click, copy, and then paste into a word document.
For those data sets with numerous variables, please run summary statistics using only 4-5 variables at a time. The output (cut and paste into word doc) should be legible at 10-12 point font with sufficient spacing between columns.
NOTE: Your data sets may change based on your model results or Presentation #2 . Descriptive statistics will need to be provided in your final research paper based on the latest data.

What are the capabilities and limitations of domestic intelligence efforts in supporting the homeland security enterprise?

What are the capabilities and limitations of domestic intelligence efforts in supporting the homeland security enterprise?
Regarding such capabilities, do you feel that the U.S. is appropriately structured and resourced to adequately provide timely, accurate, and actionable domestic intelligence to the degree needed to identify and address future challenges.
This paper should provide an examination of the various elements that comprise U.S. domestic intelligence efforts (from local law enforcement and other community/regional assets to national intelligence agencies) and how those entities contribute to supporting the homeland security enterprise by protecting American citizens in a collaborative manner. In crafting your paper, it would be beneficial to recall the lessons learned from the 9/11 attacks and proposals put forth by the 9/11 Commission concerning the lack sharing needed information and intelligence.

Compare and contrast the two rivers – are they sinuous in shape, braided in form, intermittent with flow, etc.? Post the following information:
Name of your place: Sacramento

-Where does each river begin (lowest order segment stream locations) and end (highest order segment stream location…likely a body of water)?
-Identify the primary shape of the rivers – are they straight, sinuous, braided, etc.? What geologic controls of the areas are contributing to the shape of those rivers?
-Are the rivers natural or are there any man-made structures controlling the water flow or erosional forces? If so, describe a few of those structures along your two (2) rivers.

How did the researchers test their hypothesis(es)?

Length: 1000-1500 words (not including title page and references) Instructions:
• Choose a specific disorder discussed in your textbook (e.g. bipolar II disorder, schizophrenia, etc.).
• Find one PRIMARY scientific journal article about the disorder you chose to focus on. This must be a report of original research, not a review paper (a review article does not discuss original research findings, but reviews and summarizes the research conducted by others), and the article must be published since 2000 (not before). Make sure the article is from a scientific, academic, peer-reviewed journal. You can access such journals through several databases available to you through Dawson PsycArticles, and PubMed might be most helpful, you are free to use any/all databases that you have access to (e.g. university library databases, Google Scholar, etc.).
*You must submit your chosen article to me on Lea by the due date specified above. I recommend you check/verify with me whether the article you chose is appropriate for the assignment before beginning the assignment. If you skip this article approval step, you must nevertheless submit the .pdf of your chosen scientific article on Lea by the assignment due date. Failing to submit the article .pdf will result in a maximum grade of 50% on the assignment. Additionally, if you skip the article approval step and complete your assignment using an article that I deem inappropriate for the assignment, your maximum grade on the assignment will also be 50%.
Once you found an article and received my approval, please write an analysis (1000 words) in the following format:
a) Summarize the journal article in your own words. Do not quote from the article, and do not merely paraphrase the abstract. Elements to discuss in this section include: What was the research question and/or hypothesis (why was this an important question to ask)? How did the researchers test their hypothesis(es)? Include the type of design used (e.g., experimental, correlational, survey, longitudinal, cross sectional, etc.), and describe the methodology (e.g., participant demographics, materials, & procedures). What did the researchers measure and how? What were the findings/results of their study (no need to report any specific results of statistical analyses)? What did the researchers conclude based on their results? What are the implications of these conclusions and findings? (400-500 words)
b) Provide a critique of the study. Elements to consider include: Was the sample representative of the population? Was the methodology appropriate given the research question? Were measures/procedures adequately explained so some could replicate it? Given the data/results; were the conclusions appropriate? (Did they overstate/understate some of their findings? In other words, were they being fair in how they treated/interpreted the data?) Identify limitations of the study (explain why they are limitations). Identify strengths of the study (why are they strengths?). This section must include discussion of at least two limitations and two strengths of the study. (300-500 words)
c) Summarize what the course textbook has to say about disorder presented in the article. Describe how the content of the article and its study relate to the content in your textbook. (300-500 words) Fundamental abnormal psychology Ronal j Comer Jonathan Comer
Your submission should include your written assignment (.doc or .docx – on Turnitin.com) and your article (.pdf – on Lea).
The .pdf of the article should be submitted in its original journal publication form (i.e. the contents of the .pdf should resemble pages of a journal, including original formatting, tables, figures, etc.). Do not submit a .pdf “print” of a website, or a .pdf of copy/pasted text from an article. I am looking for the .pdf as originally prepared/published by the journal. If you are not sure what this means; please ask me to explain and I will.
Make sure to obtain the submission confirmation receipt when you submit on Turnitin.com. If a receipt is not provided it means that your paper was not submitted. Your receipt is also your proof of submission if I do not receive it. You are responsible for ensuring that you submit the correct document.
Your assignment must have a cover/title page and a References page (see examples below).
The only two sources permitted for this assignment are your article and the course textbook.
Please use in-text citations, but do not quote from your sources. Do not confuse in-text citations with quotations – although citation means quote in French, that’s not what it means in English. In-text citations are brief bibliographical references that are used in-text – they work together with their corresponding full bibliographic citations in the References list at the end of the paper to properly acknowledge the sources of information used in the paper in order to maintain academic integrity. A quotation is when information is borrowed word-for-word from a source and placed within quotation marks “like so”. Please do not use quotations in your writing – all the knowledge/information that you borrow from your sources (e.g., course textbook and selected artcile) must be paraphrased (i.e., expressed in your own words). Everything you write (except for scientific terms) must be in your own words, even if you think the original wording sounds better – I want to see how you understand and can articulate the information. If you quote, you will lose 10% per quote. Please know that in-text citations must be used even in the absence of quotations, meaning that even if you are expressing yourself in your own words, you must still acknowledge the sources of information (academic integrity) using in-text citations and a proper References page.
Your assignment must include proper APA in-text citations and References – without them you would not be properly acknowledging your sources, which means plagiarism (an academic offense and a zero grade). Follow the APA guidelines precisely for formatting your references and in-text citations.
Use Times New Roman 12-point-font, double-spaced, 1 inch (2.54 cm) margins all around, for the entire assignment. Pages should be numbered (top-right header) beginning at the title page.
What is most important to me is that your writing is original and clear. Make sure to explain yourself well and be very clear (assume I have a Bachelor’s degree in English, but no Psychology degrees). Errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and document formatting will be penalized. Please proofread your work.
The only two sources permitted for this assignment are the course textbook and the article.
